Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday at 3pm!
Prep for next class
Jeffrey’s Group:
Last week we considered “the world”. We learnt how God describes it and that Christians are commanded not to conform to it. We are supposed to be something different – like stars in the nights sky!
But we are still in the world. We interact with it every day, so what should a Christian’s relationship with it look like?
Read: 1 Peter 2:11-17
Think: What two words does Paul use to describe his audience in v11? What do these words mean? Can you think why Peter would describe Christian’s using these words?
Think about the practical advice Peter gives in vv12-17. Doe this help you understand the description of Christians in v11?
Stephen’s Group:
This Sunday, we’re going to take a look at how Daniel and his friends responded to ungodly laws – and what motivated their response.
Read the story: Daniel 3:1-13, Daniel 6:1-10.
Now, read: 1 Peter 4:15, 16, 19.
Think: If something is legal, does that make it right? Is it ever right for a Christian to break the law? Why?
