We’ve thought about worship in a general sense, but now let’s be more specific. One form of worship is praise. What does praise include? How do we praise God?
Read: Psalm 145
Think: This psalm is full of praise. Can you find two other words in v1 that mean something similar? AS you read the psalm, think about the content of David’s praise. What is he talking about? What is his theme? and what topics does he cover?
Stephen’s Group:
While God has revealed much about Himself through the prophets, He has revealed Himself in a greater way – through Jesus Christ, “The Word of God”.
Read: Hebrews 1:1-3 and John 1:1-3, 14
Think: In your own experience, what three things does the life of Jesus Christ show you about who God is? How is he different from the prophets – like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel?
