Jeffrey’s Group:
We’ve considered the challenge that comes from within – our sinful flesh. Now we will consider the obstacles that we face without.
Read: Romans 12:1-2
Think: Look at Pauls warning at the start of v2. What does he mean by ‘this world’? What does it look like to conform to the world today? Why is this a bad thing? What should Christians aspire to instead?
Stephen’s Group:
The final Major Prophet that we’re going to think about is Daniel.
Read: Daniel 1:1-8 (or the whole chapter if you can!)
Think: How did the Babylonian king want to change Daniel and his friends? Have you experienced pressure from other people to change your beliefs, image or actions? Why was Daniel able to say no to the pressure?
