 Hi everyone 🙂

Looking forward to seeing you all again on Sunday!

Prep for next class

Jeffrey’s Group:

Last week we thought about one of the obstacles we face in our Christian life – the flesh. But God does not leave us powerless to overcome it – he has given us his own Spirit.

Read: Galatians 5:16-25

Think: Reflect on the difference between the flesh and the Spirit. If ‘goodness’ is a fruit of the Spirit and not of ourselves, then how should this affect our attitude about ourselves? What action does Paul say Christians should take / have taken against the flesh? Practically, what do you think it means to ‘walk in the Spirit’?

Stephen’s Group:

This week, we’re looking at the prophet Ezekiel. It’s another big book with lots to get our heads around, but we want to spend most of our time looking at the hope that is in the book. The passages below come after the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC.

Read: Ezekiel 34:1-16 and 37:1-14

Think: What are the two pictures used to describe Israel? What hope would these words give the people? What do we learn about God in these two pictures? What hope or encouragement do these lessons give us today?
