We are continuing to think about the foundations of our Christian life. We’ve considered how there is more to the Bible than just rules (or ‘precepts’). We’ve also thought about principles that are based on the character of God himself.

Stephen’s Group:
This week, we’re going to have think about a prophet called Jeremiah, who lived in a time when the people had forgotten God. He was a man who experienced persecution and suffering because he would not stop speaking the Word of God.

Think: Why is it sometimes hard to share God’s word to people in our society today? What might make Christians anxious or afraid to speak?
