While God has revealed much about Himself through the prophets, He has revealed Himself in a greater way – through Jesus Christ, “The Word of God”.
Read: Hebrews 1:1-3 and John 1:1-3, 14
Think: What does the life of Jesus Christ show you about who God is?
Jeffrey’s Group:
Our next lesson is ‘Love One Another’.
Read: Matthew 20:17-28; John 13:1-17, 33-35; 15:1-12; 17:11-23
Think: Christ is now preparing the disciples for his soon departure. Not only for his death, but for his ascension, when he will no longer be with them on earth. Your time would not be wasted reading all of John chapters 13-17, but I have picked out a few passages that I think are especially relevant. What concerns does Christ show for the disciples? What are the most important lessons that he leaves them with?
